چکیده

Abstract In contrast to analyses with constrained hub speed, the present study includes dynamic response of coupled rotor-drivetrain modes in aeromechanic simulation rotor blade loads. The structural model flexible Bo105 system is aerodynamics modeled by an analytical formulation unsteady element loads combined a generalized wake or free wake, respectively. For two flight states, i. e. cruise and large loading, time-marching autopilot trim wind tunnel configuration performed. results are compared those baseline case constant speed. comparison reveals major change passage frequency harmonics lead-lag Beside full drivetrain model, reduced models shown accurately represent influence on loads, if eigenfrequency second collective lead-lag/drivetrain mode properly predicted. sensitivity analysis, this varied stiffness modification model. resulting changes correlated eigenfrequency, which serves as simple though accurate classification regarding its vibratory Finally, potential improve load predictions application demonstrated through simulated measurements from test.

Dynamic Optimization of Bearingless Helicopter Rotors

The paper outlines a beam non linear formulation capable of describing the three dimensional behaviours of composite blades and usable in an optimization system. The response couplings are all taken into account by the method used to characterize the beam cross section. Such a linear constitutive law represents the starting point for an updated Lagrangian formulation of the beam elastic problem...

Condition Monitoring of Helicopter Drivetrain Components Using Bispectral Analysis

In this paper, bispectral analysis of vibration signals is used to assess health conditions of different rotatingcomponents in an AH-64D helicopter tail rotor drive train. First, cross-bispectral analysis is used to investigate drive-shaft faulted conditions -namely misalignment, imbalance, and a combination of misalignment and imbalance -with respect to a baseline case. The magnitude of the cr...

Four Rotors Helicopter Yaw and Altitude Stabilization

—In this paper an appropriate four rotors helicopter nonlinear dynamic model for identi cation and control law synthesis is obtained via modelization procedure where several phenomena are included like gyroscopic effects and aerodynamic friction. The numerical simulations of the model obtained show that the control law stabilizes the four rotors helicopter with good tracking.

Assessment of Comprehensive Analysis Calculation of Airloads on Helicopter Rotors

Blade section normal force and pitching moment were investigated for six rotors operating at transition and high speeds: H-34 in flight and wind tunnel, SA 330 (research Puma), SA 349/2, UH-60A full-scale and BO105 model (HART-I). The measured data from flight and wind tunnel tests were compared with calculations obtained using the comprehensive analysis CAMRAD II. The calculations were made us...

Bicoherence Analysis for Condition Assessment of Multi-Faulted Helicopter Drivetrain Systems

Traditional linear spectral analysis techniques of the vibration signals, based on auto-power spectrum, are used as common tools of rotating components diagnoses. Unfortunately, linear spectral analysis techniques are of limited value when various spectral components interact with one another due to nonlinear or parametric process. In such a case, higher order spectral (HOS) techniques are reco...
